I have been spending winters in Placencia regularly for the last 15 years, ever since I bought my lot here. Over the years I built my house, expanded it, and just last year added two additional apartments, for a total of 3 one-bedroom apartments. I also decided last year to make Placencia my permanent home. I have not looked back since! I love living here and being part of Placencia’s active business and social community. My 10-year old son is thriving at school, a wonderful charter school with a project-based approach. We both enjoy easy access to Belize’s beautiful nature and many fun diversions!

The Dolce Cabana sits in a beautiful marina neighborhood which is set off from the main drag but still within a short walk to town. The neighborhood is called Harbour Place and it is an established area with other vacation rentals nearby and owners who reside here part of the year or full-time.
