This particular listing is for the entirety of this two-level home, though the house is split into three separate, self-contained units. This arrangement would be fantastic for a few small families traveling together, several couples, a group of friends, or an extended family. Each of the three sections of this home has its own private entrance, living area, full kitchen, and sleeping areas and can be rented separately or all together, depending on your needs. The upper-floor three-bedroom, two-bathroom Mirasol Mini-Villa has the most space. Downstairs there are two near-identical lower floor units, the Mirasol Condo North and Mirasol Condo South, both of which have one bedroom and one bathroom. Walk into one of the downstairs units and you will find a bright and airy space with all the comforts of home. Step to the back of the house to find a spacious living room with some seating arranged around a TV. This is a great place to sit and watch some cable TV, use the provided WiFi to look up activities, or open up the back door and let in the gentle Caribbean breeze.

This part of the country is famous for its diving opportunities, whether you prefer snorkeling or scuba diving. Belize is home to the world's second largest barrier reef, and hosts an extremely diverse range of sea life. There are also dozens of offshore islands called cayes that are waiting to be explored. From Placencia Village you can hop on a boat to take you to these islands, though you could also enjoy a fishing trip or excursion to see the manatees that live in the lagoon or the rare whale sharks that briefly visit this region. From town you can even book tours that roam farther into Belize. Go ahead and take guided hikes around the jungle, rafting trips down nearby rivers, or spelunking tours around some nearby caves. You may want to check out some Mayan ruins, such as Xunantunich or Caracol, both of which are near Belize's border with Guatemala. Another must-see attraction is the fantastic Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Preserve, where you can see all sorts of animals ranging from armadillos to howler monkeys to almost 300 species of birds.
